GERRO, MINOS AND HIM is about three men thrown into an empty room, trying to figure out a way to spend their time together.
Here the game starts, right in front of the audience. Here they dive into an on-going transformation of bodies and relationships. Using exclusively what is there – their imagination, their own bodies, and both those of their partners and the audience – they extract themselves from the actual room of the theatre to shape fictional spaces that collide with the empty stage and in-between themselves.
Together with the audience, they part for a surreal journey where games are just as playful as they are dangerous, as touching as they are repulsing, as stringent as absurd. They are sucked into a maelstrom of shouts, small dances, kabuki love scenes and tribal singings. Their condition shifts from loneliness to togetherness, from burning to shining, from shading to renewal. Their movements meander between the grotesque and the subtle.
